Imagine if you had an expensive new car, but that same car suddenly needed a $1,000 repair. You could just put it on the lot and try to sell it at a lower price, but that would mean losing out on all of those sales. You can’t do this, because as soon as someone sees it for sale, they’ll know who you are and won’t buy from you again.
